My first sighting of the imported Lippitt Stallion Marvelous Encore bowled me over.
How could one horse have so much presence and personality?
I chose to puchase a filly from Encore and Mt Tawonga Miss Mary, a beautiful mare whose serenity I was irrrestibly drawn to.
A year later I also chose to purchase a stallion from Encore and the imported mare Lizotte Lil Bridget.
I cant count how many people have visited our stud and been "bowled over" by King, just like I was, with his sire back in 1992.
Mt Tawonga Genevieve and Mt Tawonga King are the cornerstones of Fernleigh Creek Stud, and both have an abundance of the "Encore look", that so captured my attention.
Our second senior mare Myross Hine was purchased specifically for breeding, imported from NZ, this hardy little lady has some special Morgan qualities I wished to incorporate into our breeding program.
Junior mare Fernleigh Creek Nena is the first foal of my treasured Genevieve, and bred to King is producing the strong Morgan look I desired.
