Nena is hard not to like. Her dam is a very special mare, her sire Tui's Nimrod (imp NZ), is an easy going stallion with a consistent and impressive performance record under saddle .Nimrods strongest physical attributes were also where we felt our mare was weakest. We bred Neve to Nimrod, fingers crossed, for a filly to go back to King.
 We were delighted with what we got. Very typey to look at, very easy to be with, she has inherited her mare lines's looks and serenity, her impulsion and super hock engagement from her sire line. Top that off with a naturally baroque head carriage, three great expressive paces and a strong desire to be with you, ( she has perfected the "horse hug", and loves to accost unsuspecting visitors! ). Nena is a really nice package.  Shown twice only, as a youngster, she was second both times to her mother. Nature seems to have conspired against Nena's show career,  prepped twice for the National Morgan Show, both times unable to attend. At  four years old Nena started her formal  pre-training with Michele Meijer, then to Monica Watts for under saddle work , she has proven to be very athletic and shows great promise for Pony Dressage in the future. Bred to Mt Tawonga King in 2007, the realization of a very long held plan.
