Fernleigh Creek Morgan Horse Stud is a true boutique establishment breeding baroque style, old fashioned Morgan Horses.
Located tucked away in the picturesque Adelaide Hills orchard area of Lenswood, South Australia.
Proprieters Paul and Noni Martin have a lifetime of affinity with horses, in many different pursuits.
Fifteen years of knowledge with the Morgan breed, sees Fernleigh Creek with a hand selected band of Morgan Mares and elite Morgan Stallion, Mt Tawonga King.
We believe King embodies all the traits of the Legendary Morgan Horse, and his extraordinary show record proves that others believe so too.
We breed two or three pure Morgan foals per year for sale, but no longer stand our stallion at public stud.
Our foals are lightly imprinted at birth, they live in a family herd with their sire and dams, learning to interact in the most natural equine way.
Routinely handled as they grow up, with our own style of casual horsemanship infused with a whole lotta love.
We impose a supplematary feeding regime, have regular visits from the farrier and adhere to a strict worming program.
Kings progeny are gaining many show wins and Championships, the winning quality he possess's is being passed on.
